The basic tenet is often called the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
What should you do unto others?
You should Love them without prejudice of any kind. You are your brother's keeper. You are a child of God and so is everyone else. God forgives us from all our transgressions and we should forgive others in the same way. But, how can I keep on turning the other cheek? People have been so mean to me that it is just human nature to want to get even with them for their bad treatment of me.
Yes, that may be true. But it is also human nature to want to live without stress or strife. It is also human nature to want to Love one another. But, how can I Love somone who is hateful and wants to do me harm? That is the 64 thousand dollar question and the Million dollar answer is to love even your enemy as yourself. But, that is easier said than done. Yes, that is why we pray, to give us the strength and wisdom to Love our enemy.
It is a task bigger then any human can handle alone. That is why we have to have a belief in something higher than ourselves. We have to have a God or a God like figure in our lives.
Can we make a difference? We can all make a difference! We are all elements of change! But we cannot do it all by ourselves. We are going to need help if we are going do thing that will really matter. It is in the TEAM that we all gain the magic power that God intended for us to develop and grow. You are an Atom of God. You are created in his image. You are endowed with his power but you have to surrender to him to make it happen. Thy will be done! That is the key. My will be done is the path to frustration and disappointment. When you stop caring who gets the credit and let God make that decision you will see that you can make all the difference in the world! Start out small with an idea. What can I do to help make the world a better place? Well, the world is a better place just because you are in it. Don’t worry if what you decide to do is not big by the standards of others. Just do one small thing everyday.

After many years of listening to and attending the services of others and my personal reading of the Scriptures. I find that there are not that many tenets or rules to follow. The basic tenet is often called the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
